18.06.1941 - 11.07.1941 First Sailing - active patrol U-149 left Gotenhafen under the command of Horst Höltring on 18th Jun 1941 and arrived back at Gotenhafen over three weeks later on 11th Jul 1941. Horst Höltring hit one ship on this patrol. On 27th Jun 1941 he sank the Soviet 206 ton M-99.
