U-182 left Horten under the command of Asmus Nicolai Clausen on 9th Dec 1942. On the 16th May 1943, U-182 was sunk. On 15th May 1943 in square DH 42, U-182 came under attack from an aircraft of USAAF 2 Squadron.
Asmus Nicolai Clausen hit five ships on this patrol.-
On 15th Jan 1943 he sank the British 7,173 ton Ocean Courage.
