23.06.1941 - 24.06.1941 First Sailing U-451 left Kiel under the command of Eberhard Hoffmann on 23rd Jun 1941 and arrived at Horten on 24th Jun 1941 after one day.
06.07.1941 - 11.07.1941 Second Sailing On the 6th Jul 1941, U-451 left Horten under the command of Eberhard Hoffmann and after five days arrived at Trondheim on 11th Jul 1941.
24.07.1941 - 28.07.1941 Third Sailing U-451 departed under Eberhard Hoffmann from Trondheim on 24th Jul 1941 and arrived at Kirkenes on 28th Jul 1941 after four days.
30.07.1941 - 12.08.1941 Fourth Sailing - active patrol U-451 left Kirkenes under the command of Eberhard Hoffmann on 30th Jul 1941 and returned nearly two weeks later to Kirkenes on 12th Aug 1941. Eberhard Hoffmann hit one ship on this patrol. On 10th Aug 1941 he sank the Soviet 441 ton SKR-27 Zhemchug.
19.08.1941 - 12.09.1941 Fifth Sailing - active patrol On the 19th Aug 1941, U-451 left Kirkenes under the command of Eberhard Hoffmann and arrived back at Kirkenes three and a half weeks later on 12th Sep 1941.
16.09.1941 - 26.09.1941 Sixth Sailing U-451 departed under Eberhard Hoffmann from Kirkenes on 16th Sep 1941 and after one and a half weeks arrived at Kiel on 26th Sep 1941.
25.11.1941 - 12.12.1941 Seventh Sailing - active patrol U-451 left Kiel under the command of Eberhard Hoffmann on 25th Nov 1941 and arrived at Lorient on 12th Dec 1941 after two and a half weeks.
15.12.1941 - 21.12.1941 Eighth Sailing - active patrol On the 15th Dec 1941, U-451 left Lorient under the command of Eberhard Hoffmann. U-451 was sunk on 21st Dec 1941.
