31.08.1944 - 02.09.1944 First Sailing U-483 left Kiel under the command of Hans-Joachim Morstein on 31st Aug 1944 and arrived at Horten on 2nd Sep 1944 after two days.
05.09.1944 - 08.09.1944 Second Sailing On the 5th Sep 1944, U-483 left Horten under the command of Hans-Joachim Morstein and after three days arrived at Stavanger on 8th Sep 1944.
03.10.1944 - 21.11.1944 Third Sailing - active patrol U-483 departed under Hans-Joachim Morstein from Stavanger on 3rd Oct 1944 and arrived at Bergen on 21st Nov 1944 after seven weeks. Hans-Joachim Morstein hit one ship on this patrol. On 1st Nov 1944 he fatally damaged the British 1,300 ton HMS Whitaker.
07.02.1945 - 26.03.1945 Fourth Sailing - active patrol U-483 left Bergen under the command of Hans-Joachim Morstein on 7th Feb 1945 and after more than six weeks arrived at Trondheim on 26th Mar 1945.
