01.08.1942 - 03.09.1942 First Sailing U-705 left Kiel under the command of Karl-Horst Horn on 1st Aug 1942 and arrived at return on 3rd Sep 1942 after more than four weeks. Karl-Horst Horn hit one ship on this patrol from convoy SC-95. On 15th Aug 1942 he sank the American 3,279 ton Balladier, sailing with convoy SC-95.
