First Sailing - active patrol
U-75 left Kiel under the command of Helmuth Ringelmann on 10th Apr 1941 and arrived at return on 12th May 1941 after four and a half weeks.
Helmuth Ringelmann hit one ship on this patrol.
  • On 29th Apr 1941 he sank the British 10,146 ton City of Nagpur.

Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 29th May 1941, U-75 left St. Nazaire under the command of Helmuth Ringelmann and after five weeks arrived at return on 3rd Jul 1941.
Helmuth Ringelmann hit three ships on this patrol and all of them were in convoy: two were from convoy OB-327 and one was from convoy OB-336.
  • On 3rd Jun 1941 he sank the Dutch 4,801 ton Eibergen, sailing with convoy OB-327.
  • On 3rd Jun 1941 he sank the British 9,456 ton Inversuir, a member of convoy OB-327.
  • On 25th Jun 1941 he sank the Dutch 1,967 ton Schie, part of convoy OB-336.

  • On 5th Aug 1941 he sank the British 5,415 ton Harlingen, sailing with convoy SL-81.

U-75 left St. Nazaire under the command of Helmuth Ringelmann on 27th Sep 1941 and after just over five weeks arrived at return on 2nd Nov 1941.
