  • On 14th Jun 1941 he sank the British 5,370 ton St Lindsay.

On the 2nd Aug 1941, U-751 left St. Nazaire under the command of Gerhard Bigalk and returned to St. Nazaire on 8th Sep 1941 after over five weeks on patrol.

U-751 departed under Gerhard Bigalk from St. Nazaire on 11th Oct 1941 and arrived back at St. Nazaire on 8th Nov 1941 after four weeks on patrol.

U-751 left St. Nazaire under the command of Gerhard Bigalk on 16th Dec 1941 and returned one and a half weeks later to St. Nazaire on 26th Dec 1941.
Gerhard Bigalk hit one ship on this patrol from convoy HG-76.
  • On 21st Dec 1941 he sank the British 11,000 ton HMS Audacity, sailing with convoy HG-76.

Fifth Sailing - active patrol
On the 14th Jan 1942, U-751 left St. Nazaire under the command of Gerhard Bigalk and arrived back at St. Nazaire more than five weeks later on 23rd Feb 1942.
Gerhard Bigalk hit three ships on this patrol, one was from convoy HX-173.
  • On 2nd Feb 1942 he damaged the Dutch 8,096 ton Corilla, a member of convoy HX-173.
  • On 4th Feb 1942 he sank the British 4,535 ton Silveray.
  • On 7th Feb 1942 he sank the British 6,952 ton Empire Sun.
