Second Sailing
On the 20th Jul 1941, U-82 left Horten under the command of Siegfried Rollmann and after three days arrived at return on 23rd Jul 1941.
11.08.1941 - 18.09.1941
Third Sailing - active patrol
U-82 departed under Siegfried Rollmann from Trondheim on 11th Aug 1941 and arrived at return on 18th Sep 1941 after five and a half weeks.
Siegfried Rollmann hit five ships on this patrol and all of them were in convoy, all of them from convoy SC-42.
  • On 10th Sep 1941 he sank the British 7,465 ton Empire Hudson, sailing with convoy SC-42.
  • On 11th Sep 1941 he damaged the Swedish 1,999 ton Scania, a member of convoy SC-42.
  • On 11th Sep 1941 he sank the British 3,915 ton Gypsum Queen, part of convoy SC-42.
  • On 11th Sep 1941 he sank the British 5,463 ton Empire Crossbill, from convoy SC-42.
  • On 11th Sep 1941 he sank the British 7,519 ton Bulysses, sailing with convoy SC-42.

Fourth Sailing - active patrol
U-82 left Lorient under the command of Siegfried Rollmann on 15th Oct 1941 and after five weeks arrived at return on 19th Nov 1941.
Siegfried Rollmann hit two ships on this patrol and both of them were in convoy, both of them were from convoy SL-89.
  • On 21st Oct 1941 he sank the British 4,099 ton Serbino, a member of convoy SL-89.
  • On 21st Oct 1941 he sank the British 5,281 ton Treverbyn, part of convoy SL-89.
11.01.1942 - 06.02.1942
Fifth Sailing
On the 11th Jan 1942, U-82 left La Pallice under the command of Siegfried Rollmann and arrived at return on 6th Feb 1942 after more than three weeks.
Siegfried Rollmann hit three ships on this patrol and all of them were in convoy: One was from convoy NA-2 and two were from convoy ON-56.
  • On 22nd Jan 1942 he sank the British 11,999 ton Athelcrown, from convoy ON-56.
  • On 23rd Jan 1942 he sank the Norwegian 6,118 ton Leiesten, sailing with convoy ON-56.
  • On 31st Jan 1942 he sank the British 1,190 ton HMS Belmont, a member of convoy NA-2.
