Operations information for U-141
13.04.1941 - 17.04.1941 First Sailing U-141 left Kiel under the command of Philipp Schüler on 13th Apr 1941 and arrived at Bergen on 17th Apr 1941 after four days.
29.04.1941 - 11.05.1941 Second Sailing - active patrol On the 29th Apr 1941, U-141 left Bergen under the command of Philipp Schüler and after more than one week arrived at Lorient on 11th May 1941.
31.05.1941 - 26.06.1941 Third Sailing - active patrol U-141 departed under Philipp Schüler from Lorient on 31st May 1941 and arrived back at Lorient on 26th Jun 1941 after more than three weeks on patrol. Philipp Schüler hit one ship on this patrol from convoy SL-76. On 22nd Jun 1941 he sank the Swedish 1,277 ton Calabria, sailing with convoy SL-76.
14.07.1941 - 01.08.1941 Fourth Sailing - active patrol U-141 left Lorient under the command of Philipp Schüler on 14th Jul 1941 and returned two and a half weeks later to Lorient on 1st Aug 1941. Philipp Schüler hit two ships on this patrol and both of them were in convoy, both of them were from convoy OS-1. On 26th Jul 1941 he sank the British 5,106 ton Botwey, a member of convoy OS-1. On 26th Jul 1941 he damaged the British 5,133 ton Atlantic City, part of convoy OS-1.
21.08.1941 - 18.09.1941 Fifth Sailing - active patrol On the 21st Aug 1941, U-141 left Lorient under the command of Philipp Schüler and arrived at Kiel on 18th Sep 1941 after four weeks. Philipp Schüler hit two ships on this patrol. On 5th Sep 1941 he sank the Icelandic 190 ton Anders. On 6th Sep 1941 he sank the British 228 ton King Erik.
