First Sailing
U-634 left Kiel under the command of Eberhard Dahlhaus on 9th Feb 1943 and arrived at Bergen on 13th Feb 1943 after four days.
18.02.1943 - 23.03.1943
Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 18th Feb 1943, U-634 left Bergen under the command of Eberhard Dahlhaus and after more than four weeks arrived at Lorient on 23rd Mar 1943.
On 21st Mar 1943 in square BF 46, U-634 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 172 Squadron.
Eberhard Dahlhaus hit one ship on this patrol from convoy HX-227.
  • On 2nd Mar 1943 he sank the American 7,176 ton Meriwether Lewis, sailing with convoy HX-227.
15.04.1943 - 23.05.1943
Third Sailing - active patrol
U-634 departed under Eberhard Dahlhaus from Lorient on 15th Apr 1943 and arrived at Brest on 23rd May 1943 after five and a half weeks.
At 2313 HRS on 17th Apr 1943 U-634 came under attack from an unidentified aircraft. U-634 was not damaged by the attack.
At 0900 HRS on 18th Apr 1943 U-634 came under attack from an aircraft of RAAF 10 Squadron. U-634 was not damaged by the attack. The boat defended itself with flak without destroying the aircraft.
On 21st May 1943 in square BF 44, U-634 came under attack from an aircraft of RAAF 10 Squadron.
12.06.1943 - 30.08.1943
Fourth Sailing - active patrol
U-634 left Brest under the command of Eberhard Dahlhaus on 12th Jun 1943. U-634 was lost on 30th Aug 1943.
At 0930 HRS on 14th Jun 1943 in square BF 78, U-634 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 305 Squadron.
At 1558 HRS on 14th Jun 1943 in square BF 78, U-634 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 10 Squadron.
At 0752 HRS on 15th Jun 1943 in square BE 99, U-634 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 502 Squadron. The boat defended itself with flak without destroying the aircraft.
