18.09.1943 - 05.11.1943 First Sailing - active patrol U-848 left Kiel under the command of Wilhelm Rollmann on 18th Sep 1943. The boat was declared missing after 5th Nov 1943. Wilhelm Rollmann hit one ship on this patrol. On 2nd Nov 1943 he sank the British 4,573 ton Baron Semple.
