30.03.1942 - 26.05.1942 Second Sailing - active patrol
On the 30th Mar 1942, U-333 left La Pallice under the command of Peter-Erich Cremer and returned to La Pallice on 26th May 1942 after just over eight weeks on patrol.
Peter-Erich Cremer hit four ships on this patrol.-
On 6th May 1942 he sank the Dutch 1,294 ton Amazone.

11.08.1942 - 24.08.1942 Third Sailing - active patrol
U-333 departed under Peter-Erich Cremer from La Pallice on 11th Aug 1942 and arrived back at La Pallice on 24th Aug 1942 after nearly two weeks on patrol.

01.09.1942 - 23.10.1942 Fourth Sailing - active patrol
U-333 left La Pallice under the command of Peter-Erich Cremer on 1st Sep 1942 and returned seven and a half weeks later to La Pallice on 23rd Oct 1942.On either the 6th or 7th of October (sources vary) HMS Crocus got U-333 on radar, and closed at high speed. U-333 was rammed twice, and took continuous fire from Crocus. U-333 submerged and Crocus dropped D/C's. U-333 lay low, and later surfaced under cover of dark. Cremer was seriously wounded, and had lost 3 crewmen dead: Obergefreiter Erwin Levermann Obergefreiter Ernst Thiel Oberleutnant Hermann-Karl Bernhardt Cremer's injuries were so severe that Lorenz Kasch, a Captain under instruction aboard U-107, was transferred to U-333. Kasch took U-333 back to base. One last close call awaited U-333 on this patrol. On returning through the Bay of Biscay, the ex U-570 - captured and renamed HMS Graph - fired 4 torpedoes at U-333 but all 4 missed. KL Lorenz Kasch went on to command U-540, but he and U-540's crew were lost on that boat's first operational patrol.

20.12.1942 - 05.02.1943 Fifth Sailing - active patrol
On the 20th Dec 1942, U-333 left La Pallice under the command of Werner Schwaff and arrived back at La Pallice more than six weeks later on 5th Feb 1943.

02.03.1943 - 13.04.1943 Sixth Sailing - active patrol
U-333 departed under Werner Schwaff from La Pallice on 2nd Mar 1943 and returned to La Pallice on 13th Apr 1943 after six weeks on patrol. At 2131 HRS on 4th Mar 1943 in square BF 58, U-333 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 172 Squadron. U-333 was only slightly damaged in the attack. The aircraft was destroyed during the attack.
