Notes for U-9
U-9 was sunk at Konstanza by a Soviet air attack on the harbour on 20th August 1944. There were no recorded casualties. The boat was raised later by the Soviets and taken to Nikolaev where it was renamed TS-16. It was eventually broken up in late 1946.
